Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our innovative design-build firm. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive networking, strategic partnerships and market analysis. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for utilizing effective sales strategies and an in-depth knowledge of the design build industry.
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel Focus Studio’s growth.
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists and account attack plans within a defined territory.
  • Working in conjunction with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and manage the execution of strategic sales goals and business objectives.
  • Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas.
  • Attend trade shows and other associations’ meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations.
  • Expand Focus Studio’s footprint and build top of mind awareness.
  • Research and build new accounts (i.e., in person meetings, strategic calling, sending personalized emails, and connecting through social media platforms)
  • Achieve quotas of qualified opportunities created.
  • Conduct high level discovery conversations and meetings with prospect accounts.
  • Be responsible for cultivating and nurturing valuable industry connections and client partnerships through strategic engagement activities, fostering professional relationships that contribute to the advancement of our business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license, fully insured vehicle, willing and able to spend time on the road.
  • Background knowledge of the design and construction industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of business development experience within the construction industry
  • Excellent listening and note-taking skills.
  • Highly motivated to succeed.
  • Committed to honesty, loyalty, and obedience.

Pay: $81,486.00 - $90,513.00 per year
